anywhooo we saw Princess and the Frog on Saturday for Senti's birthday it was AMAZING I missed Disney movies with good music. I mean I love the Disney/Pixar movies, but I always prefer the classic Disney stuff. also, Keith David (voice of the Arbiter and Goliath from that old cartoon Gargoyles) does the voice of the main evil guy. and he sings. and it's fantastic.

also Sunday was Mom's birthday so I got her Bladerunner (The Final Cut) on DVD since she likes that movie so much. :3 also, it was the Christmas Pageant/Sankta Lucia festival and Diana was Mary and I was a Lucia Bride. For those who do not know what that is, here we go:

My Mom's church is Swedish, and it's a Swedish tradition that on Saint Lucia's day every year that people's oldest daughter wears a wreath of candles on her head and serves everyone rolls. OR THAT'S THE SHORT VERSION AT LEAST I don't really want to explain the whole legend of Saint Lucia. anyways, at my Mom's church, every year the graduating high school girls wear white robes and a red sash and LIT CANDLES. ON THEIR HEADS. and go up and talk about what they are going to do after they graduate. me and the two other girls all got hot wax in our hair and it was really painful. it dripped right between my eyes right after we finished. D:

I have allll my Christmas shopping done. :D I even got stocking stuffers for everyone (including myself lol). and so tomorrow is our first get-together at Grandpa Mick's, and then Christmas Eve we go to Grandpa Pat's and stop by Grandma Fran's that evening, and then Christmas Day we go to Aunt Jeans.

and I don't have to work again until Saturday~ so now I'm going to go see if dinners ready. :D

2: Project Runway- I swear to god if Irina wins I will poke my own eyes out I don't care if she makes good clothes, I don't like most of her garments (I HATED her Aspen look) she is such a royal bitch and she does not deserve to win.

3: I er, bought my dream lolita dress. :B AP's Mint Lady Rose (mini-sleeved JSK). I honestly didn't care what style, although I kind of would have preferred the OP. But anyways...I had to borrow money from Cristina and and I just finished paying her back today (I owed her for some other stuff, too). Derp. Now I need aaaaall the stuff to go with it, and then I will post pictures.

Ah, what else. I fiiiiinally watched Let The Right One In back on Halloween and it is like my FAVORITE MOVIE EVER NOW I need to change my icons to accommodate it (and various other fandoms that I still have no icons for)

Speaking of texting, I've been thinking about getting my own phone plan so I could get unlimited texting. I never use my minutes and texting plans are pretty cheap. So. Maybe.

Alos, I got...silicon bra stuffers. For my Ukraine cosplay. They are um. Much more comfortable than socks! :D IT WAS SO AWKWARD TO BUY THEM they were at Joann's Fabrics of all places, but anyways...I wanted to blurt out 'THEY'RE FOR A COSTUME' but I didn't, and you know what's funny is that the cashier probably thought I was a guy. Considering everyone does the first time they see me. Seriously, like half the customers at Safeway think I'm a guy.

Okay, please excuse my last post. I'd had a really bad day (obviously). I was stressed to begin with, and then all the way to my piano lesson I had to listen to my Mom rant about her problems and I don't blame her for needing somebody to talk to about it, but. It didn't help with the stress.

Then there was stupid drama at the mall. Linnea bitched. Me and Cristina had a miscommunication. And then we got harassed by some crazy bitches with no lives who threatened me and then followed us home on the bus.

But then the next day me and Cristina saw 9 (we were going to see Inglorious Basterds but they wouldn't let me in because they were being anal about their ID policy for R rated movies, even though they had let me into see Watchmen without asking for an ID). It was good.

And then the next day we had a DOLL MEET and it was really fun, we actually had a good turn out (instead of just like...three or four people like usual xD). But then I had to leave early to go to work.

And then today me and Cristina went to McDonalds and finally got to see Inglorious Basterds, which was AWESOME.

Also I bought most of my Ukraine cosplay about a week ago. :3

You know, compared to most people I know, I'm so uninteresting it almost makes me depressed.

ANYWHO, stuff happened...

Cristina graduated from college~ And we had a party and Dad was here and it was great. :D fujiappletan slept over because it's a two and a half hour drive back to her house and by the time it was nine at night, we were like 'you can't drive home in the dark and the potential rain' and then ta-daaaah that's how all our sleepovers start. They are never. planned.

So the next day we went to the mall and at first I was like 'I didn't spend any of my money, yaaaay!' and then we went to borders and I bought volume three of The Sandman, volume four of Kyo Kara Maoh, volume six of Yuugiou Duelist, volume three of Vassalord and a one-shot yaoi called Love Machine.

...the Yuugiou was free? :B I FAIL AT SAVING I am never going to have another doll...cry

Then we went to see the movie Up, which was adorable.

And when we got home...I spent more money! Hooraaaay me and Cristina are splitting the Hetalia One-Coin figures and I'm just going to buy cosplay, dammit, because I see no point in trying to save up SO MUCH MONEY until I have a job that gives me consistent triple-digit paychecks. ;_;

Also, on Friday I bought Let The Right One In and we still haven't watched it so hopefully we will tonight. >_>

Erm I think that's everything relatively interesting that happened. :D

I feel kinda bad because I never check my email and then when I finally do, I see that people replied to LJ comments I made and I never replied back. So then I'm like 'I could now, but it would be weird because it's been like...a week'. :c Also, I get emails from people in general and I never see them until it's too late like the ones from Elisabeth about writing something about NOLA for church. But then....I wasn't going to do that anyways because it would have been fail. :x

Diana is a dumbass. We're painting the ceiling (me, Linnea and Diana) and we all sort of had our own 'section'. So Diana ended up with the middle, where all the furniture is, and since I was already finished with my part, I started painting over the couch and stuff because my paint roller handle is longer. And of course she starts FREAKING OUT!!!!1! because I'm in HER SPOT!!11! and she's A BIG KID WHO CAN DO IT HERSELF NOW WAH WAH WAH!!!1!

I had been enjoying watching ~ridiculous~ ~blinding~ ~quality animation~ first series Yuugiou when the audio decided to go out of sync with the visuals because the people subbing it stuck some image at the beginning, while the opening them was starting. So the sound is about two or three seconds ahead of the animation. ;_;

Yuugi's voice is adorable he sounds like a five year old. heh. And I'm not used to Yami having the voice of...some one his size. Because hello, dub people, it would be like...physically impossible for somebody that short to have a voice that deep. Yes, look at me, trying to make this show logical.
